The Rockford Review is published twice a year by Rockford Writers' Guild, a 180 member nonprofit group that formed in 1947 to voluntarily promote the literary arts by way of its book, monthly meetings, contests and community events. Books may be purchased at $9 each through daveconnieross@aol.com, or by calling Ross at 815-963-2098.

The 2008 Winter/Spring Edition of Rockford Review was "On Pins and Needles." From the Introduction by editor David Ross, "The prose and poetry in this winter-spring Rockford Review defy all definitions of pins & needles syndrome."

Winners of the $25 editor's choice prizes were: Rashelle Bellarosa (poetry), Nan Determan (poetry), Mike Gray (prose), Graham Johnson (prose).
